I am trying to get pictures from my Mac. computer to my Sony digital picture frame using an USB cord. The manuel only tells you how to do it for Windows, not mac, and I am really confused and just need some help.
How do you do it? Step by step?

Some of those picture frames won’t talk to MACs, but they will talk to a USB thumb drive. So copy the jpg files to a USB thumbdrive and then plug that thumbdrive into the picture frame. That should do it.

I haven’t made a picture frame but it is simple to do if you can saw wood at 45 degree angle.
You just need to pick up a length of moulding at a diy store decide how big you want the frame cut the wood at 45 degrees butt two of these together and they make the 90 degree corner , glue them with wood glue repeat process for all the sides . simple stuff , you can staple some card to the back and if you want glass in it you can easily fit a wooden packer to give you th depth for the glass to fit into .
oh and you can buy a mitre block to get the angles right or better a mitre saw.
paint it or finish it whatever way you want .
